Mountains & Ascents

Sajama Ascent

Sajama is the highest point in Bolivia with its 6542m of altitude. It is located in the Cordillera Occidental, in Sajama Park and is part of the stratovolcano family. This makes it a mountain in great demand, but no less formidable. The Sajama is no exception to the rule of volcanoes. Its ascent is physically demanding and in addition some more technical passages, in particular a slope at 55º above the altitude camp and a rock passage with gas before joining the dome.
